Tea Tree and Mint Laundry Detergent

Rich in Olive Oil, this ecological and antibacterial laundry detergent scented with tea tree and mint is a breeze to make and pleasant to use! Using just soap flakes, baking soda and essential oils, you can make your own natural laundry detergent that is effective in cleaning out odours and stains, while remaining gentle on all kinds of fabrics. This is also suitable for washing delicate baby clothes. 

This recipe makes 1 litre of laundry detergent.

What you will need

20-40g of Marseille soap flakes (Use up to 40g for hand washing) 

2 tablespoons of Baking soda

15 drops of Tea Tree oil

5 drops of Peppermint oil

1 litre of hot water

1 large measuring bowl (preferably one with a pouring spout)

1 litre bottle 

 

The making

1. Mix the soap flakes and baking soda in well in the bowl with the hot water

2. Leave the solution to cool for 15 mins and add the essential oils. Stir well again and pour into your bottle.

This laundry detergent can be stored for up to 6 months.
