The soap flakes are made from Marseille soap, and is a 100% green laundry cleanser that is gentle on all fabrics, including linen and cotton. It does not leave behind any residue unlike commercial detergents, hence reducing the risk of skin reactions to fabric.

Its gentle formula makes it a great solution for washing baby laundry.

Directions

Add 20-40g of soap flakes to 1 litre of boiled water. Mix till it is fully dissolved and store in a glass bottle.

How much to use:

For a 5kg laundry load, use around 75ml of laundry liquid. Increase the dosage for more intense washing. To maintain the cleanliness of your washing machine, regularly pour a glass of white vinegar into your fabric softener compartment to ensure that there is no leftover soap residue.

Optional:

Add 1 tablespoon of baking soda for a more intense laundry wash.

For a naturally scented detergent solution, you can also add 20-40 drops of your favourite organic essential oils.

Some suggestions:

a) Lavender: Antibacterial, calming

b) Lemon: Anti-fungal, uplifting

c) Eucalyptus: Natural germicide

d) Tea Tree: Fights viruses, germs and bacteria
