Up to the age of 2-3, the skin of the infant is under development. It can easily redden due to the rubbing of diapers or clothing, sudden changes in the weather, etc. The acid mantle is fragile and cannot completely fulfill its role as a protective shield.

Made out of the brown seaweed Fucus vesiculosus, Alga-Paisium formulated by Laboratoires de Biarritz is an exclusive extract rich in phlorotannins. Its phlorotannins have been proven beneficial in maintaining skin integrity, notably its anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic properties.

In vitro testing demonstrated the efficacy of the Alga-Paisium extract for reducing markers of skin inflammation.
